Missing our friends...

Cody has been carrying around his little Alabama license plate a lot lately and I realized...I'm lame and didn't post pics from the box that the Wade family sent to us. :) Cody was so excited because it was addressed to him.

Jon and I love the shotglasses we got for our collection. I think this puts us somewhere around 130.

There were a whole bunch of clothes in there for little miss Kaitlyn too. Most of them are things she'll eventually grow into...but the one thing that does fit now is just so adorable. It's ladybug coat and she loved wearing it. It should still fit when we move back to WA too which will be so fun.

Cody decided he had to try on one of the jackets that she'll grow into. He was all excited that he was wearing Layla's coat :)

We love you and miss you Megan, Thomas, and Layla.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Yesterday morning started with a trip to Starbucks....mmmmm! It was chilly so we all bundled up a bit (minus our feet....we all wore our slippers).

Cody has been LOVING the hot cocoa lately.

What could possibly make a trip to Starbucks better than drinking a peppermind white mocha twist? Drinking a peppermind white mocha twist and getting a Starbucks winter cup ornament!

Even when the weather is crappy...Hawaii does have some pretty sunsets :)

I like the neighbors snowmen...made for some fun bokeh photo taking :) More Bokeh to come...I'm having fun with it.

The lights are up on our house and the tree is up, but I'll post pics later. For now it's chow time.

End of November...who would've guessed?

Saturday afternoon was BEAUTIFUL! We headed over to Steve's house so Jon could help him work on his boat. I can't wait for them to get it finished so we can go out in it. Cody decided to keep himself entertained by playing in the water with the hose. Arean't you all jealous?

Kaitlyn Loves to just lay outside on a blanket and play...or nap. She loves being outsite, and unlike me, LOVES the feel of grass!

Turkey Day!

I know I'm a bit late on this, but wanted to share anyway.

Thanksgiving preparations started on Wednesday afternoon. Mindy came over to help bake pies. We only got one done, but I'm so proud of us. We made an apple pie from scrach. I did the crust and Mindy did most of the filling. It turned out SOOOOO delicious.

Mindy and I decided we needed photos for evidence that we made it ourselved and didn't buy it. Jon decided to step in and claim the pie himself even though he didn't do anything to help...other than hold K for the last couple minutes :) He's such a goofball...K just wanted to eat it, she didn't care about a photo op.

Done baking...a little messy looking, but oh so good!

Thanksgiving morning started with a bath for Kaitlyn. This was her first bath sitting up in the sink. I usually use the little cradle thing that sits in the sink and she lays down. She loved it this way though. She's getting way too big.

TURKEY!!! I was so proud of myself. I did the turkey and stuffing all by myself...well mostly myself. Jon stuffed the turkey, but that was about it. :) It turned out so good. Brice brought a turkey too. His was really good too. We had a ton of leftovers which is the best. I love eating Thanksgiving leftovers.

The day went so well. It was great to be surrounded by wonderful friends for the holiday. Cody wasn't in a picture taking mood, but here are a few more of little missy. She's growing up way too fast.
